Pray for Martin Downes’ Daughter

Our dear brother in Christ, Martin Downes, has requested pray for his 9 year old daughter Kezia who was just diagnosed as having a brain tumor. Martin wrote:

“Yesterday our youngest daughter Kezia (9) went for an MRI scan.  The doctors discovered a large brain tumor, which is pressing on the pituitary gland.  Kezia is currently in hospital in Wrexham and will be transferred today to Alder Hey children’s hospital in Liverpool where the neurosurgeons will assess her and operate.”

Please lift Kezia up in prayer to the great Physician. Pray also for Martin and his wife and they go through this trial with their beloved daughter. (ht: Nick Batzig)

Kezia is home for the weekend. She’s looking forward to putting up the decorations tomorrow. Back in on Monday morning for more tests before her operation on Thursday. She’s got one of the best, if not the best surgeon for her type of tumour in the UK. (Friday, November 26)

This seems like the quickest if not the best way to get this news out. Our youngest daughter Kezia had an MRI today. She has a brain tumour 4cm x 2cm x 2cm. She’s in Wrexham hospital tonight and will be transferred to Alder Hey at 7am (Wednesday, November 24).
